Frequently Asked Questions… What is Utensil UniversityTM and how is it different from the other adult courses?
Utensil University is a two-hour power lunch class covering the skills needed during business lunch or dinner. The School of Protocol's other adult courses cover topics in greater detail and may be taken individually or grouped in any combination.
Is the material covered in the group and individual courses different?
The same information and skills are taught in either setting. We suggest taking the courses in the setting with which you feel most comfortable. However, we do recommend a group setting so you can practice your new skills in an environment similar to which they will be used.
What is the best age to begin teaching etiquette to children?
Educating children about manners should begin as early as possible in the home. The School of Protocol accepts children age 4 and older.
Do you provide courses for high school students preparing for college interviews?
Yes, we offer a Self Promotion course in our adult curriculum that shows them how to clearly communicate what makes them unique with others in a clear concise manner that will help them standout from the rest.
Does The School of Protocol offer speakers for corporate events?
Yes. Debbie Neal, founder and certified etiquette trainer, is available as a speaker for private and corporate events.
"Good manners sometimes means simply putting up with other people's bad manners.
